Features and Facilities

Camp Island Lodge is an exclusive retreat tucked away in the peaceful surroundings of the Whitsundays. Our lodge is designed to comfortably accommodate 8 adults, with four separate en-suited villas located just a stone's throw away from the ocean. Each villa offers a perfect blend of relaxation and natural charm, making it an ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The rooms are furnished with luxe linens and Leif amenities and are thoughtfully designed to blend with the natural landscape. You can slide open the French doors and step out onto your own private veranda, feeling the refreshing ocean breezes and enjoying the panoramic views. It's the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Each en-suite villas can be configured with either a king-sized bed or two comfortable singles, and if you need more sleeping space, we'll happily provide rollaway beds upon request. The villas are connected by covered walkways that blend seamlessly with the main lodge. Here, you'll find a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious dining, living and entertainment areas, as well as big, inviting verandas where you can relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

The fully equipped kitchen offers all the essentials needed to make amazing meals using the freshest seafood and locally sourced produce.

Embodying classic Queenslander-style architecture, the lodge showcases hardwood construction, silky oak door frames, and polished timber floors, culminating in a timeless elegance that has earned Camp Island Lodge recognition as the Australian Institute of Architecture's (Queensland Chapter) '1988 House of the Year for Excellence in Architecture'.

Camp Island has got to be one of the most magnificent, beautiful and well catered for locations I have ever visited. Having the whole island and the facilities to your self is an experience that is hard to find anywhere else. The views across the bay are amazing, the natural setting is unique and the beaches and coastline fantastic.

Your Island definitely has the wow factor. It has everything that a family would want in a tropical getaway that is private with all the creature comforts.
