Oyster Harvesting

Come join us on a fun oyster harvesting adventure! Our friendly caretakers will guide you to our special spot where you can learn how to harvest fresh oysters from the rocks. Afterwards, feel free to enjoy them barbecued or fresh with a squeeze of lemon, just the way you like them.

Tennis Court

Challenge your companions to a spirited match or engage in a friendly game of tennis on our well-maintained court. Whether you're a seasoned player or a novice, the court offers ample opportunity for friendly competition.

Basketball

Experience a versatile sporting experience at our tennis court, where you can also enjoy shooting hoops with friends and family using our basketball hoop. Get ready to aim high and strive for the title of Most Valuable Player!

Swimming Pool

Escape the heat and take a refreshing dip in our swimming pool, a welcome oasis on warm tropical days. Whether you prefer leisurely laps or simply lounging on a floating lilo, the pool offers a refreshing respite for guests of all ages. 

Firepit/ Campfire

As daylight fades, come together at our fire pit in the early evening, enjoying a drink while soaking in the enchanting sunset vistas. With two fire pits available on the island, you have the option to select your preferred setting, and our caretakers are on hand to arrange a drinks and snack station at your chosen spot for an unforgettable evening experience.

Sunset

Don't miss the breathtaking sunset views at Sunset Beach, located on the west side of the island. Known for its romantic ambiance, it's no wonder we've witnessed three proposals here at Camp Island Lodge. Truly, the sunset here is an experience not to be missed.

Walking trails through National Park

Explore the island's natural beauty through a network of walking tracks, where you might chance upon wallabies, echidnas, sea eagles, or Torres Strait pigeons. Take a leisurely stroll around the bay and discover washed up shells amongst the coral. Sturdy closed-in shoes are recommended for your comfort and safety.
