Accommodation and Catering
Camp Island Lodge is your very own private island in Queensland’s world heritage listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. We are situated in the northern Whitsundays and are surrounded by the stunning scenery, sandy beaches and white coral of Cape Upstart National Park.
Features and Facilities
With just four villas sleeping a maximum of eight guests, Camp Island Lodge is a private oasis; a haven of calm, seclusion and natural luxury.
Each villa is located metres from the ocean and is beautifully appointed with luxury linens, comfortable furniture and Leif amenities. Camp Island’s villas have been designed with the stunning natural surrounds in mind, with large french doors and private verandahs from which to enjoy the beautiful views and cooling ocean breezes.
Each en-suited villa sleeps 2 people in either a king or 2 single beds – additional rollaway beds are available on request.
The villas are connected by undercover walkways to the main Lodge which encompasses the kitchen, dining, living and tv areas and spacious covered verandahs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything necessary to prepare a gourmet meal using the region’s incredible seafood and local produce.
The buildings are ‘Queenslander-style’, constructed with hardwood, silky oak door frames and polished timber floors. Camp Island Lodge has been awarded the ‘Architectural Society House of the Year’.
What an awesome experience. Spectacular place to relax and fish. Caught a variety of reef fish within 500 metres of the island. I will be back!
Catering Options
We offer self catering or a full chef service.
We discourage the use of single-use plastics and would ask you to consider this whilst you are provisioning.

Self-catering
Bring your own provisions with you to cater for your stay. We have a well-equipped kitchen. Please make sure you adequately cater for the duration of your stay as we are remote.

Full chef service
For the ultimate luxury let us arrange an executive chef for your stay. Your chef will provision for and cook all your meals and snacks.

Alcohol
We do not sell alcohol. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol onto the island and we will happily set you up with a drinks station next to the fire pit each evening.

Water
Camp Island Lodge is supplied by rainwater fed tanks with high level filtration. An ice machine is available for your use.
One of the best holidays I've had in Queensland. Great hosts who were very approachable and accommodating. All facilities were immaculately clean. Great local knowledge and put us on to the many varieties of seafood. Highly recommend.
