Light casual clothing is ideal with a jumper or wrap for the evenings. Sturdy reef shoes or old sneakers are ideal for walking around the island. A rain jacket/ spray jacket is useful for the transfer over to the island.
Stingers may be more prevalent from November - May through the Great Barrier Reef. We recommend wearing stinger/sun suits. For further information please refer to the Whitsunday Regional Council website.

Dave and Broc have been the most amazing hosts making sure we’ve got the absolute best out of our stay here on Camp island. Every day has been full of snorkeling, kayaking, fishing and exploring, and the kids have been entertained from the moment they wake up. This will be one of my most memorable holidays ever. Thanks Broc and Dave it’s been truly amazing.
